Grand Concert

The Grand Concert is Stephen's double sided model, which is a cross between Spanish Granadan and Daniel Friederich style guitars. He has great respect for Master Luthier Daniel Friederich and loves the sound of his guitars; so Stephen decided to develop his own take on Friederich's style of build. These guitars are not direct replications, but like the Friederich guitars Stephen likes so much, they are similarily crafted with extra attention to the construction of the sides. Composing of two normal thicknessed sides adhered together which by doing so creates a very rigid structure. Along with with a thinner but more ridgidly braced top the result is a louder and higher projecting guitar with great sustain and depth.

This guitar will provide you with an impressive Spanish sound with more control and focus on the fundamental of the note. Plain Scheller tuners, with your choice of plate/buttons, come as standard giving the guitarist sublime quality in tuning. Engraving is an option at extra cost. https://www.gitarrenmechaniken.com/en/

The Grand Concert, typically Spruce or Cedar top with Indian Rosewood back and sides, is fully customisable and a very popular choice for it's incredible sound. If you need a different body shape or something custom made like a magnetic arm rest this is all possible. Tone woods are always meticulously selected, for more information on options/sound and if it is something you are interested in trying please get in touch.
